Give 'em hell, Tim.
Tim Johnson is my favorite senator for a number of reasons. He works hard, makes a difference, and does his damnedest to stay out of the spotlight. I admire that. I also like that, when the situation calls for it, he doesn't mince his words. Take, for example, Johnson's response earlier this week after Republicans in Congress passed, and President Bush signed, a $70 billion tax cut on stock dividends and capital gains:"It's much more difficult to pass middle-class tax cuts now," Johnson said. "Congress needs adult supervision at this point."
